Durable recovery backup
Paper can work when stored safely; metal backups may add resistance to fire and water. Never buy a pre-filled backup.
Private recovery location
Keep backups away from cameras and cloud storage. Avoid storing the device and its only backup together.

Use only microSD cards, cables, power or QR accessories supported by the device documentation.
